The Priest: A Gothic Romance (1994) is Thomas M. Disch's third Supernatural Minnesota novel. It depicts the destruction of its main character, Catholic priest Pat Bryce, by a revenge scheme due to his crimes of pedophilia, and also by a mystical connection with a 13th-century bishop in the Inquisition.
